AccessMHA makes it easier to help find mental health,or substance use health and addictions support, services, and care. We eliminate the guesswork and work with you to refer you to the services you need, all while supporting you through the process. After reaching out to us, you will be paired with a trained mental health, substance use health and addictions professional who will connect you to the services you need from a network of partner organizations.

AccessMHA is not a crisis service.  If your substance use health, addictions or mental health needs are a medical emergency, or if there is a concern you might hurt yourself or someone else, contact 9-1-1, or go to your nearest hospital emergency department. 16 years of age or older lives within our service area

Important update regarding AccessMHA operations

Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences has assumed full operational responsibility for AccessMHA as requested by Ontario Health East Region. Please note the effective dates for this transition: June 1, 2025, responsibility transferred from The Royal Ottawa Health Care Group. December 1, 2025, responsibility transferred from Providence Care Centre.  Your privacy remains protected. Ontario Shores is committed to maintaining the confidentiality and security of your personal health information, strictly adhering to all provisions outlined in the Personal Health Information Protection Act. You do not need to take any action. Your AccessMHA records and information securely transferred to Ontario Shores.
