  • General Mental Health, Substance Use Health and Addictions Resources

    KHSC Detoxification Centre: 

    • Provides short-term, non-medical withdrawal management services for those who want to detoxify from alcohol and/or other substances, short term residential support to those awaiting intake into a treatment program and overnight preventative admission for people at risk of relapse.  In addition to residential services, the Detox Centre also offers access to self-help groups, and supportive counselling with 24-hour telephone support.

    Community Withdrawal Management Services: 

    • Serves People age 16 or older needing assistance with withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs. Participation is voluntary.

  • Family and Peer Support

    Peer Support Services of Eastern Ontario (psseo.ca):

    • Numerous sites in Bancroft, Belleville, Kingston, Madoc, Napanee, Picton and Trenton offering drop in Peer Support services. Visit website for locations and hours.
  • Children and Youth Resources

    Open Doors for Lanark Children and Youth 

    • Our services may be accessed by children and youth (aged 0-17) and their families, as well as by parents requiring support.

    Children’s Mental Health of Leeds and Grenville 

    • Offering free mental health services in-person, virtually or by phone for children 0 to 17 years of age living in Leeds and Grenville.

    Maltby Centre 

    • Providing autism and children & youth mental health care for children, youth, young adults and their partner/guardians.

    Children’s Mental Health Services of Hastings and Prince Edward 

    • Provides a variety of free, confidential and professional treatment and support to help children, youth and their families cope with life’s challenges.
  • Sexual Assault / Domestic Violence

    Sexual Assault Center Kingston (Age: 12 +):

    • Provides medical and legal accompaniments to the hospital, police station and court preparation and court proceedings.

    Resolve Counselling Services – Male Survivors’ of Sexual Abuse:

    • This group is available to males over the age of 18 who are coming to terms with childhood sexual abuse.
